Jeep has maintained its familiar core trim lineup for the 2024 Wrangler, carrying over from the previous year. The available trims consist of Sport, Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, and the top-of-the-line Rubicon 392. While the robust Full-Float Dana® rear axle comes standard on the Rubicon, Rubicon X, and Rubicon 392 models, it can be optionally equipped on the other trims, allowing buyers to customize their Wrangler's off-road capabilities.
For the 2024 model year, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid lineup has been streamlined, offering fewer trim choices: Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, and High Altitude. However, one of the most notable enhancements is the ability to opt for a Jeep® Level 2 PHEV Home Charging Station, installed by Jeep's partner, Qmerit. This dedicated home charging solution significantly reduces the time required to replenish the Wrangler 4xe's battery pack, enhancing the convenience of electrified off-road adventures.
While both versions of this year's Wrangler share many of the same standard features, they part ways when it comes to power and fuel economy. Depending on the trim, the 2024 Wrangler comes with a choice of eight trims and three different gas-powered engines, while Jeep offers the 2024 Wrangler 4xe in six models all equipped with a 375 horsepower, PHEV, 2.0L DOHC DI Turbo I4 engine.
